Hello Grade Fives!
Our second term is now over and you have all continued to work hard on developing good learning behaviours: listening carefully to lessons and instructions, completing work carefully and completely, checking your work over for errors, preparing for quizzes, and asking for help as needed. As we begin our third and final term, I would like you to think about which learning behaviours you are going to work on over the next couple of months. In today’s response, and in a correct paragraph form, please tell me which behaviours you have chosen and, in the support sentences, explain how you plan to accomplish these goals. I look forward to reading your responses. I will make every effort to help you accomplish the goal(s) you set.

I have many learning behavious planned out for the final and third term and here are some of them. Fist, I must concentrait harded and do part of my work as homework. Second, I must make sure to tripple check my work. Third (as in the third term), I must help the teachers and my peers as much as possible. Learning behavious are very important espescally in the third term and here are some of mine.

My goals for this term is to work on my spelling. avery day im going to go on my computer and open a word document. then im going to just write anything i wont.i will do it with out the correcter and then check my spelling. My goals for this term is spelling.

These are my goals for the third term. My goal is to keep going beyond expectations and keep an A avrage. My goals for the third term will be beibg more focused on one thing at a time. I am usually all over the place, and that slows down my learning. I want to be able to concentrate on one thing at a time, and not think about other things. If I accomplish my goal, I will probobly be a bettter listener. I also wan tto do this so I am not so confused on things I need help on to understand. My goal for the third term is to think a bout one thing at a time more efficently.

These are the goals I will be doing for term three. My first goal is to do my homework as soon as I get home. My second goal is to hand in my spelling assinment early {unless I have to do or go somewhere.] My final goal will be to do a little better in all subject areas.

Teses are some of the goals i am going to work on. I have so many goals but I have to start on #1. First, I think that I need to listen harder in class. Second, I think that I should try to learn more meanings of words so that I can uderstand some of my work. Third, I really need to chec for errors thaey are every where for me.
I think that for number one I can not really think of any thing that I can do but for some reasion I am getting better and I just try to stay fouckused. One of my strategies is I am going to check over all my work to make sure the stuff that I know should be right is right. The other strategie is to if I dont get something then try and figure it out then ask a friend or the teacher.The other one is to look back at what I have done last and see if that might help with what I have to figure out now. Dear Mrs.French, How are you? I am great. Also How was your spring break? My spring break was awesome! My family went to Vancouver! We went to Stanley Park, went and looked at the Vancouver aquarium in Stanley Park, went on a horse and buggy ride also in Stanley Park, watched a 3-D movie at I-MAXX and, went shopping! After a few days in Vancouver I got kind of scared because there was murdering in Vancouver well we were there! Well that was my spring break!
These are my goals for the third term in grade five for the year of 2008/2009. First, I have been getting straigh A's through grade five and I would like to keep working at my best rate to keep up the accomplishment of straight A's. Second, I think that I can accomplish my first goal by listening, checking over my work for errors, ask for help as I need it or be a problem solver as, there many more strategies to help reach my goal. Third, I would like to get my handwriting a little neater. Fourth, I think that I can reach my second goal by handwriting in my daily work more often then I already do. Fifth, I would like to also be a problem solver instead of asking for help ragularly. I am sometimes a problem solver but if I learn to be a problem solver it may help me out in my future life. Sixth, I thnk that I can reach my third goal by starting at home. Instead of asking my mom or dad for help I can try to be a problem solver and figure it out. Those were my goals for the third term of grade five.
