Good morning Grade Fives,
This is one of the last blog responses for grade five. I want to take a moment to just let you know how much I have loved teaching you this year! You are keen group of students who willingly tackle new experiences and learning opportunities.
Now, as you look forward to summer, I would like you to take a moment to think about grade six. Please write about one learning behaviour you are going to use next year to help you have a successful grade six year. What action will you take to improve your success in school.

When there is on foniliar word, I'll chunk it. And I look for a word that I know. That is my learning behaviour.

There are alot of goals to choose from in school and I have chose reading. I would like to try and make hard words easier to read, so as a goal for gr.6 I am going to work on my word stratiges.
I hope you think its a good goal!

The goals for nexts yoear is to get my S.S. up along with Science. I need to get a better grade for it if I want to have my dream job.(to be a vet and to save animals) Because I need to know what to do.( I need to do good in Science)

I would like to improve in SS or science. I look forward to be in Gr.6! I would like to try to quit fiddling in my desk or with paper,pencils,eraser and quit drawing in my notebooks! It's been a fun year Mrs. French!

I am looking forward to summer vacation but I also want the school year to keep going.I am thinking about grade six and I do have some goals I want to try and make some time to study so I can get better marks and to do taht I have to stay organized and know when things are due so i can study.

A learning behaviour that I would like to takle for next year is making sure that I am listening. Not really that I have a huge problum with that but I would like to do this behaviour because when I am having troubles I can think how the teacher explained the lesson and really try to figure it out before I go and ask a friend or the teacher. So the main thing is listening to what the lesson is that Mrs.Ephrom is teaching us or just what the teacher is saying.

When I go to grade six I am going to try to pay attention more in class. and try not to talk as much in the class. I will not talk as much and listen in class.

I have really enjoyed grade five but I am looking forward to grade six. I think I'm going to pay more atention in class. I think that is really importand because there will be harder work. I will miss grade five.

When I go into 6th grrade
I want to do better on math i have a hard time with math exspeshally fractions this is my learning behavor for 6th grade.

In grade 6 I will need to improve on my work-at-the-last-minute habbit that I started this year. I started this habbit because I was caught up in life. I am still not sure if I am ready for a change of scenery, but on the other hand i need to be moving right along. Some of the work this year I found quite BOURING ( yes I do mean that I found Grade five extremly boring)
I really want to become a star singer, that is my hope and dream. Heres a litte summer one for you:

Dear Mrs. French,
One of the learning behaviours I would use in grade six is working on figuring out problem solve myself more often. I would like t use this behaviour because I am usualy getting and asking for so much help before I even try my hardest to figure it out. ('Problem' refers to not finding a headset or not finding a bookmark.) I like using my brain to think about things, but ussually end up forgeting anyway!!! Anouther reason would be I hate it when I have brain freeze and if I problem solve, I probablly won't have then so often! A learning behaviour I woul duse in grade six will be more problem solving.
(P.S. I don' tlike having brain freezes!)

Dear Mrs. French, I am sad that this is the last blog response. I am so happy that I had you as a teacher! You are so great and fun to have around also AWESOME to have as a teacher! I am very, super excited for the summer brake but I would also like the school year to continue on! :)
One of the learning behaviour that I will use in grade six is that I will try to do more problem solving. The second thing learning behaviour is, I will ask more questions to get more information. If I problem solve it will help me more in my life for example, when I get a job I might need to do some problem solving. Also when I do the training course for a job I should ask alot of questions so that I feel comfortable with what I am doing. If you ask questions a lot then you won't have to do anything over again! If you learn to problem solve then when you have brain frezzes you will be able to figure it out.

Im going to miss you being my teacher but I deffinetally am looking forward to gr.6.Stratiges im going to use are listing closly to the teacher, and practicing what I learned in class that day and make sure I now what it is.Im also going to practice what i learned in Gr.5 over spring break so when i come back for gr.6 I have a good idea of what im going to need to now like rounding. divisoin and i might even practice some math that I might run into in Gr.6 during spring break.So my learning behavior in Gr.6 will be to practice what I learn and being able to catch up in math cus as you know i not so amazing at it.
P.S Im gonna miss the most amazing teacher when i move into Gr.6***
